SEEBURGER Partners with AccuCode for end-to-end RFID Delivery Solution

ATLANTA, January 17, 2005 – SEEBURGER, a leading B2B integration provider, today announced a new partnership with AccuCode (Denver, Colo.),  which will allow both organizations to deliver a complete radio frequency identification (RFID) solution. AccuCode, a leading systems integrator and Value Added Reseller (VAR) of industrial mobile technology, will be a fully licensed reseller of SEEBURGER’s Workbench RFID software application suite.

Combining forces will allow both companies to offer retailers, manufacturers and distributors a complete, best-of-breed RFID solution, ranging from AccuCode readers, transponders and label printer applicators to SEEBURGER’s highly flexible, scalable Workbench.

“RFID is still in the early stages of adoption and there’s a good deal of confusing information in the marketplace,” said Philip Calderbank, Vice President, RFID, SEEBURGER. “This relationship brings one-stop shopping to our customers facing compliance with RFID mandates – from leading vendors they already know and trust. We’re extremely pleased to be working alongside the expert team at AccuCode.”

"More and more customers are looking to leverage RFID technology within their supply chain," explained Kevin Price, CEO of AccuCode. "The opportunity to collaborate with an RFID market leader such as SEEBURGER reinforces our commitment to provide our customers with completely integrated RFID solutions that meet their exact needs."

SEEBURGER’s Workbench is particularly suited to the retail environment because it is:

  • Java-based – runs on many different platforms, including Windows, Unix, AS/400, etc.
  • Fully integrated with a wide range of databases, ERP systems and warehouse management systems
  • Scalable – From simulation to high-end integration
